Designing calmer digital spaces

6 min read · Today

Your attention is finite. Give it a quieter place to land.

One intentional inbox

No algorithm deciding what comes first.

Three clear destinations

Triage, Later, and Archive.

Your library stays portable

Export feeds and account data anytime.

Built for attention

Everything you need to read with intention.

mread-it turns the endless stream into a small set of deliberate choices—without adding another noisy feed to your day.

All your sources, one queue

Follow RSS, Atom, and YouTube feeds, or save any link manually and from the browser extension.

Triage before you read

Make one simple decision: read now, move it to Later, or Archive it for reference.

A clean place to focus

Open articles in a distraction-free reader without losing your place in the queue.

Search that remembers

Find saved ideas by title, source, content, tags, or reading status whenever you need them.

AI, only when it helps

Generate concise summaries and suggested tags while keeping the final decision in your hands.

Organized around you

Use tags, filters, bulk actions, and keyboard shortcuts to shape a reading flow that fits.

Kindle integration

Bring your book notes back into view.

Import highlights and notes from books purchased on Amazon into your mread-it Kindle library. Revisit saved passages and your own thoughts, organized by book.

Set up Kindle sync

Connect through the browser extension

Sign in to Kindle Notebook on Amazon and enable Kindle sync. Your Amazon password stays in your browser.

Let new annotations come to you

The extension checks every six hours while your desktop browser is running and your Amazon session is active. Repeated imports update existing notes without duplicating them.

Imports include the highlights and notes available in Kindle Notebook. Sync your Kindle with Amazon first.

A simple rhythm

From “maybe later” to actually read.

Capture first. Decide in batches. Read when you have the time and focus for it.
